90 hours in 90 days $15000 Challenge

Starting on June 5th, 2020 hours will be tracked by the Member’s using the punch card system located at the cage. It is the SOLE responsibility of each member to clock in and out each day. Hours will be updated daily and posted inside the club.

Minimal hours to Qualify for the $10,000 Free-Roll is 90 hours in 90 days.

  1. From June 5th -July 5th (Phase 1) $1000 to the top 2 in hours ($500 each). In the event of a tie or ties, the amount will be split between each spot.

  2. From July 5th -August 5th (Phase 2) $1000 to the top 2 in hours ($500 each). In the event of a tie or ties, the amount will be split between each spot.

  3. August 5th-September 5th $1000 (Phase 3) to the top 2 in hours ($500 each). In the event of a tie or ties, the amount will be split between each spot.

  4. Each Phase hours will be counted separate; however, they will roll over for the total hours for both Freerolls.

  5. Hours will be rounded to the nearest quarter hour. Example: clocking out between 1:01-1:07 will be rounded 1:00; 1:08-1:22 rounds to 1:15.

  6. If a player clocks in and forgets to clock out they will not be awarded any hours for that session. Also, if a player forgets to clock in and clocks in after being here for any amount of time the clock will be started at that time, not from the time the player came in.

The Freeroll will be limited to the top 27 players in total hours (90 Minimum) from June 5-September 5th, 2020.

  1. Players may transfer seats if they are unavailable to attend the Freeroll tournament dates

  2. In case of a tie for the last spot, the members will draw a card and high card by suit will be awarded the seat.

  3. Free Roll will be held on Saturday September 12th at 1:00 pm.

  4. Tournament will run regardless of the number of players qualified, however only the top 27 with the most hours will play. Qualification does not guarantee a seat.

  5. Chopping will be allowed once the tournament reaches the final 6 players

  6. All players will start with 10K in tournament chips an optional $20 Staff appreciation earns 15K in chips.

  7. Blinds will be 20-minute levels break after every 5th level.

Knockout Bounty Invitational

  1. The top 9 overall hour earners will play in a $2000 Knock out Bounty tournament on September 13th at 5:00pm

  2. Each Player will have a $100 bounty chip, and when they are knocked out the winning player receives their chip. The remaining $1100 will be a winner take all prize pool

  3. Chopping will not be allowed.

No Limit Hold'em

  1.   The No Limit Hold'em Bad Beat shall apply to the game of Texas Hold ’Em only.
      “Bad Beat” means a high-ranking poker hand that is beat by a higher-ranking hand.

  2.   A minimum of two players must be seated and dealt in at the beginning of the hand in order to qualify for the Bad Beat. A
      Bad Beat shall apply to only the first natural five community cards dealt.

  3.   To qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot, a player must have Aces full of 2's or better beaten.  A player must
      use BOTH hole cards, and when playing Aces full that player must have an Ace as one of their hole cards.

  4.   Gin Mill reserves the right to offer at times a lower bad beat qualifier

  5.   A $2 maximum amount will be removed from each pot. $1 on 10 and $1 on 20.

  6.   If a hand finishes with three qualifying hands, the lowest hand will only receive a player’s share of the jackpot

  7.   Players must play their hands independently. Any discussion of the prize during the playing of the hand may void 
      qualification for the Bad Beat Jackpot. If any player, whether directly or indirectly involved in the hand, passes information
      or instructs another on how to act or reveals his/her hand to other players, the Bad Beat Jackpot will be disqualified.

  8.   Management reserves the right to verify eligibility of all qualifying hands. There will be no recourse if the cards are mucked
      before Management was able to verify the hands and the community cards. Poker management will not be permitted to
      reconstruct the hands in any way.

  9.   Payouts of the Bad Beat Jackpot are as follows:

    • 50% of the Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded to the Bad Beat hand (losing hand).

    • 25% of the Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded to the winner of the hand.

    • 25% of the Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded equally among the balance of the seated players on the game who received cards at the beginning of the hand.

  10.   A player who walks away from the game but leaves his/her chips on the table AND he/she was in the hand at the beginning,
      will retain rights to his/her share of the Bad Beat Jackpot if a Bad Beat hand occurs.

  11.   Prizes won are final. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted.

  12.   Decisions of the Poker Room Supervisor are final and without recourse.

  13.   By participating in the Gin Mill Card Club Bad Beat Jackpot, winners’ consent to the use of their names and photographs for
      promotional purposes without additional compensation.

  14.   In the event of a tie, Bad Beat Jackpot hands (either tied losing hands or tied winning hands) at the same table, the Bad Beat
      Jackpot payouts awarded will be shared evenly between all players with the tie losing or tie winning hands.

  15.   In the event of multiple qualifying Bad Beat Jackpot hands (losing hands), the highest of the qualifying hands will be
      considered the loser.

  16.   Bad Beat Jackpot is 100% player funded and no portion of proceeds benefit the house, all funds will be returned to the    
      members in the form of the Bad Beat Jackpot or other monetary promotions.

  17.   Bad Beat can only be won/claimed once per business day.

  18.   Bad Beat jackpot is only valid for cash play.  Tournament play does not qualify.
